At Delphi Technologies' spare-parts warehouse in Menderes (Izmir), a warehouse management system (WMS) was implemented to manage warehouse operations.
The project aimed to manage core warehouse processes such as part put-away, customer order picking, and shelf balance in a digital and traceable manner.
Error and inconsistency risk in manual warehouse management
Part put-away, order picking, and stock/shelf balance tracking had to be reliable and traceable. Manual flows created high operational risk.

Real-time warehouse operations with WMS and handheld terminals
An end-to-end WMS was deployed for warehouse processes. While part put-away, picking, and shelf-balance operations were managed by the system, field operations were executed in real time via handheld terminal applications and fully recorded.

Enterprise synchronization of warehouse data with SAP
The system operates integrated with SAP; part, order, and stock data are shared with SAP so warehouse movements and shelf balance stay synchronized with the enterprise system and are centrally managed.
Part and order data are shared bi-directionally with SAP to improve warehouse execution accuracy.
Stock and shelf-balance movements are kept up to date with enterprise systems and centrally controlled.
